Friends, join us August 5th at 7:00 pm for a special talk "Bears Ears Update: New Mexico" in our upstairs event room. Grab a beer and learn more about the cultural and recreational significance of Bears Ears and the current issues surrounding public lands in the U.S. Discussion will be preceded by a few short films on Bears Ears at 6:45pm.

Speakers: Dr. Garon Coriz (Pueblo of Kewa/UNM Alumni) and Utah Dine Bikeyah Community Outreach Intern and Geologist/Paleontologist Kevin M. Madalena (Pueblo of Jemez) will discuss a Pueblo People perspective, the vast historical record (Beginning at 7000 BC to the Present) current updates, concerning ancient Pueblo ancestral lands and Pueblo ruins within the Bears Ears National Monument in southeast Utah.
